Hobbies: Home and cabin projects, plus wrenching on my old truck.

Favorite Aspects of Your Job: The variety of content – chance to be successful and bring a project through to production.
Coolest Invention/Project You Have Worked On: A couple come to mind: a cancer biopsy system with on-board/real-time imaging capability, a large-scale vial handling and automated pipetting system for cancer detection, and a simplified peritoneal dialysis system.
Personal Fun Fact: Changed career focus to earn the engineering degree, moving from the classical music world where I have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in performance. Currently tenured as Principal Tuba with regional professional organizations such as the Cheyenne Symphony, the Wyoming Symphony in Casper, and the Steamboat Springs Symphony. I also teach private lessons in the tuba studio at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Go Pokes!
